Who can resist with fries, it is a way to delicious, but unfortunately, just like all the others, this is a very unhealthy and heavy food combination. The starched contained in potatoes demands alkalotic digestive fluids, and the proteins from the meat demand acidic ones. So, when put together they just get stocked in your stomach and can bring disorder such as heartburn, belching, gas and many others.
Do you know this feeling of bloatedness that you sometimes get after eating this combination? Well, it causes by mixing protein and starch together. It is better not to put these two products together. Instead, as a side dish to meat choose none starchy vegetables for example asparagus, broccoli cauliflower, green beans or zucchini. This combination not only complement each other but they are also way healthier.
